Is a Nickel-based superalloy (NiCrMoFeW) with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in very extreme conditions. With low Carbon restricting formation of grain boundary carbides, which could lead to intergranular attack, and high levels of Chromium and Molybdenum content it is able to withstand a wide range of acids and environments with high levels of Chlorine and Sulphur. It is commonly used chemical processing plants, waste treatment, air pollution, reaction vessels for tanks, piping and ducting.
